Cresta di Gallo literally translates to "rooster's crest" similar to the ruffled edges on this pasta. It has a tubular shape- and "rigate" refers to its ridges on the outside of the tube- allowing this pasta to hold hearty and creamy sauces very well.
 
Order pick-up is Friday from 4:30-5:30pm in the Clark Park Community Garden in Tempe, AZ. If you cannot make a pick-up during that time, please email kristina@violaspantry.com to coordinate. Order cut-off is 9AM Thursday mornings. Orders made after 9AM Thursday mornings cannot be guaranteed.
